Falling in line with previous artist series releases, this new version takes on a white colorway with black accents and a 10 Corso Como hit on the front. Sony is about to release its quirky new cameras, the Sony Cyber-Shot QX100 Camera Lens ($500) and the Sony Cyber-Shot QX10 Camera Lens ($250). The cameras can work by themselves or with Sony, iOS and Android devices. To pair with the camera you will need the Sony PlayMemories app and a Wi-Fi or NFC connection. The camera attaches to your smartphone using a provided clamp and the phone is used as the viewfinder. You can then manage the photos you take through the app. Unless you have the Nokia 1020 these cameras will be a big improvement over your current phones camera.

Fujifilm is about to release the little brother to their popular X-M1camera. The Fuji X-A1 ($599) has 16.3 MP and a 23.6 mm x 15.6 mm sensor. The only differences between the X-M1 and the X-A1 is the exterior finish and the A1 doesn’t have the X-Trans sensor that comes with the M1. The X-A1 is available in three colors; blue, black, and red and will be available Oct 30th. Pre-orders are being taken now.

Olympus has unveiled an impressive Stylus 1 camera housed in an SLR-like body similar to the preceding OM-D EM-5 model. The main point of attraction here is the premium superzoom ring that Olympus has ingeniously attached to the OM-D body. Housed within the magnesium alloy body is a 1/1.7″-type BSI-CMOS sensor that provides an equivalent focal length of 28–300 mm. Equipped with a plethora of features like a high resolution electronic view finder, a ‘hybrid’ control ring, Wi-Fi enabled functions, a tilting touchscreen LCD, in-camera RAW processing capabilities, and 1080p movie recording functions, this state-of-the-art gadget is a versatile option for the prosumer photographer. The Olympus Stylus 1 will be available just in time for Christmas at select retailers for $700 USD.
