The phone boasts of a solid platinum and polished pieces of original dinosaur bone....don't bother asking why.

Those crazy monsoon moments only look good in the movies, but instead of constantly checking for weather updates on your Elite Gold iPhone 4S, let your umbrella do that for you. Materious’ interactive umbrella, called (rather aptly) Forecast, uses WiFi to get the latest updates on the weather and then glows to alert you when it is expected to rain. It’s not available for mass order yet, but it’s only a matter of time. Till then, we’ll just have to rely on the terribly difficult and inconvenient old-fashioned way of predicting rain by sticking our head out the window and looking up.

Billed as the world’s first personally tuned custom in-ear monitor, Logitech’s new UE Personal Reference Monitors (we’re talking about a pair of headphones here) are the bomb. They have to be, with their price tag of $1,999. The big draw is their customised moulded shell that’ll fit your hobbit ears perfectly. When you place an order, you’ll have a dedicated ‘personal service specialist’ assigned to guide you through the process of fitting, designing and tuning them. Your Justin Bieber collection will never sound better.
